When I posted those postcards of Macross the other week, I completely forgot to share this one from the same sender! This adorable little card comes from Japan! This is a very, very adorable version of the kappa, a figure of Japanese mythology. The one shown on the card below is much more commonly associated with the ones you might see in cartoons, anime and perhaps some book illustrations.
